Weekend Outing

Our little outing to Confluence State Park in our hometown of Wenatchee Washington, We had a pretty good time exploring around on this island at the mouth of the Wenatchee River.

We found an old car that looks like it had been underwater for a long time. we saw tiny fish and some big carp.

I have been wanting to get to this area to check it out for some time now, but whenever we have been here in the past the water was too high which made it hard to get to without a boat.
Jakob and Jarod and I were in the process of building a bridge out of a fallen tree from the beavers, when all of a sudden Cynthia showed up on the other side of the bridge, she had found a path throgh the tree's where you cold get there without crossing any water.

We all had a really fun time it it reminded me of being at some beach at the ocean.

One reason we came here was to see if there was anyone fishing, to find out what kind of fish to fish for, and what to use to catch them, as it turns out, it is illegal to fish in the Wenatchee River, I am not sure why,but I guess we won't be fishing here any time soon.

This is the tree area we had to walk through to get to the island.
